In the past six months Mr Clifton has operated on me to give me two total knee replacements. As someone with a chronic systemic illness who had never before been admitted to hospital I was very worried about the operation and the recovery process. Mr Clifton patiently dealt with all my anxieties and clearly explained in layman's terms the details of the operation. The care and professionalism he showed cannot be faulted. My recovery from both operations has been speedy and without a doubt a large part of this must be down to his skill as a surgeon. I am so grateful to Mr Clifton who has given me back my life as before the operations I could not even walk around a supermarket. JK. Stamford

Punctual, nothing to say bad about Mr Clifton. Knee replacement 6 weeks ago and not taking any painkillers at all!

Mr Clifton has exhibited all round professional expertise throughout my treatment from initial assessment to the surgery itself, having resolved all problems pertaining to my right knee, I am currently awaiting for a date from Mr Clifton to repeat the procedure on my left knee, and I can then look forward to total mobility in the near future. I have every faith in Mr Clifton that this goal will be achieved.

I am petrified of hospitals,needles.Mr. Clifton listened to me,explained clearly and simply what was happening and what would happen. I hope not to see him again as it means I have a problem !!!
